A stay at home mom...seriously out numbered by three boys:hubby ,son and dog! The only thing that makes sense most of the time is FOOD! and when it smells like heaven, it makes most of what is wrong ,right! The smell of vanilla,warm chocolate,fresh bread......should be classified as cardinal sins...they make the flesh willing and the spirit weak..... but to resist temptation takes real strength of character..... which many of us conviniently choose to ignore... and the constant struggle to locate ingredients not available in a small town.... by now I am the queen of substitution. This is the story of my journey into baking....not as much for myself......appreciating the bouquet while resisting the wine....
